"Be credible, creative and
courageous...listen, learn, love
and laugh...lead the way."

Gail Sideman

Gail Sideman is tenacious, professional and passionate about people and publicity.

"What you see and hear from Gail is what you get," said producer/reporter, Kimberly Kane. "As a reporter, Icalled her at all times of days and evenings, and she’s always at the ready to provide information for or about an expert to help develop or complete a story. She knows news and what reporters need."

An accidental job as a sports reporter for her college newspaper led Gail to write about and eventually publicize games that people play. The ability to read and help share information-packed book reports with the media and public led to a secondary niche that has opened doors to different countries, historical experiences and fiction as it relates to real-life issues.

Gail is a self-described news hound who hustles to meet the needs of an ever-changing media universe. Along with the growth and diversity in media outlets have come hundreds of tools with which consumers access news; identifying those targets is as important as anything she does for clients and reporters, alike.

Gail studied and worked at the University of South Florida, yet is a Wisconsin native who returned to the home state of the Green Bay Packers in search of a true change of seasons. These days, with a laptop and mobile phone in-tow, she shares time between her Midwest base and Orlando, Fla. the latter where she works, and hones her skills as "Auntie Gail."

Twenty years of public relations experience, including 10 in NCAA Division I sports information during which she received national awards for her work, have helped Gail emerge as one of the most respected professionals in sports and publishing publicity. When she suggests what a reporter seeks in a newsworthy story angle, Gail knows from experience. She has worked on both sides of the media-PR spectrum, including time as a stringer for the St. Petersburg Times and Tampa Tribune then as a freelance writer for sports and business publications. She works with network television production crews at some of the country's most visible sports events, which allow her to keep her hand on the pulse of broadcast media.

Gail is equally dedicated to sharing her clients' stories and providing media with angles tailored to their audiences. She goes to great lengths to educate clients about the differences between news, and messages that are better suited for paid advertisements. Regardless of the day, however, her goal is always to work honorably, honestly and maintain the respect of clients, editors and most importantly, the audiences.
